Name: Elektra Natchios Door: Right Canon: Daredevil by way of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Netflix division. Canon Point: 2x13, A Cold Day in Hell's Kitchen, specifically right after taking the killing strike that had been meant for Matt Murdock. Age: It's never officially established, but my best guess would be early thirties. Appearance: Still; gif. History: MCU Wiki Personality: - LOYAL While seen by many in her canon as being dishonest and it being true to a point, Elektra displays loyalty in many instances, often to a fault. This is especially evident in her relationship with her father figure, Stick, and her willingness to dedicate her life to the Chaste's mission and the war they've been preparing for; she trusts implicitly in spite of him never being totally honest with her and often using her (an example of this would be him sending her to recruit Matt in the first place). - MANIPULATIVE Part of Elektra's training included studying human behavior, learning the ins and outs of high society and what makes people tick, and she's not above using cheap tactics to achieve what she needs. An example of this is the instances where she pretends not to have any knowledge of the Roxxon Corporation's business operations while she's hacking their servers, or playing the role of spoiled socialite in order to get access to restricted parties to obtain information about the hosts. She's also shown to be manipulative in her relationship with Matt, especially in the beginning - she was fed information by Stick on everything from how to draw his attention to her and when she comes back into his life, she makes sure to drop information about Roxxon dealing with human trafficking, knowing that it will catch Matt's attention. - RUTHLESS Elektra is described by the season's showrunners as a sociopath; this is true in the sense that she doesn't feel pity regarding the people she's had to hurt or kill, but it's important to remember that she has been conditioned not to. It makes what she has to do simpler, and up until her relationship with Matt and his ideals have her questioning it, it works very well for her and her (Stick's) life mission. - BRUTAL Her ruthlessness in fighting extends to her willingness, and even eagerness, to kill. Matt mentions that her adrenaline spikes when she takes the life of a young Hand soldier who had been sent to kill them both, and she doesn't deny it, mentioning that she was twelve the first time she took a life (although she lies and tells him that it was just to see if she could and not in self-defense, which is later shown to be the case in a flashback). - DEDICATED Throughout her role in the series, Elektra is shown to be dedicated to several people and causes - she spends her life training with the Chaste to fight the Hand in the eventual war and carries out missions for Stick, and the only thing to break this is her relationship with Matt. Not because of him, necessarily (being betrayed and having an assassin sent to kill her from Stick doesn't help), but because he's the first one in her life to believe she can be more than what she's been raised to be, than the killing machine the Hand wants and that Stick has written her off as. In a final show of dedication, to herself and to Matt, she interferes when Nobu is about to strike, taking the weapons that were meant to kill him, both to save his life and to prevent them from being able to use her. Of course, this ends up backfiring later on, but that's another season of another show. Powers and Abilities: As of her canon point, Elektra's only abilities are those that are achieved with a lifetime of education and training; these include exceptional skill in multiple forms of martial arts and ballet, as well as moderate fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is mentioned, French is confirmed in a scene where she speaks it with Matt). She is also quite adept at observing human behavior and adapting her own to fit in with certain crowds, another skill learned from childhood when she was adopted by a diplomat and his wife as instructed by Stick when he left her with them.
