Door: Left Canon: Marvel Cinematic Universe (Daredevil) Canon Point: Season 2 episode 13 (post-death, however that works) Age: 30s Appearance: Portrayed by Elodie Yung History: MCU Wiki CR AU (Optional): N/A Personality: LOYAL: While seen by many in her canon as being dishonest and it being true to a point, Elektra displays loyalty in many instances, often to a fault. This is especially evident in her relationship with her father figure, Stick, and her willingness to dedicate her life to the Chaste's mission and the war they've been preparing for; she trusts implicitly in spite of him never being totally honest with her and often using her (an example of this would be him sending her to recruit Matt in the first place). RUTHLESS: Elektra is efficient and brutal when it comes to fighting and killing to the point where she's described as sociopathic by the showrunners (though this is not accurate based on the empathy she shows Matt and her desire to change once someone believes that she's capable of it and the fact that she doesn't like someone getting senselessly hurt or killed). There have been frequent times throughout her life where she's known it's been a choice whether she lives or the person she's fighting and/or protecting does and she will make the choice to save herself or the one she's protecting every time. She doesn't kill for the sake of it, but she won't hesitate if she feels threatened. MANIPULATIVE: Part of Elektra's training included studying human behavior, learning the ins and outs of high society and what makes people tick, and she's not above using cheap tactics to achieve what she needs or wants. An example of this is the instances where she pretends not to have any knowledge of the Roxxon Corporation's business operations while she's hacking their servers, or playing the role of spoiled socialite in order to get access to restricted parties to obtain information about the hosts. She's also shown to be manipulative in her relationship with Matt, especially in the beginning - she was fed information by Stick on everything from how to draw his attention to her and when she comes back into his life, she makes sure to drop information about Roxxon dealing with human trafficking, knowing that it will catch Matt's attention. SADISTIC: Elektra is shown several times to enjoy the process of torturing people who have wronged her or someone she cares for (this is most notably displayed when she finds the man who ordered the hit on Matt's father and encourages him to participate in torturing him and even when she and Matt have Stick restrained in his apartment before going to fight the Hand). This isn't exclusive to people who have harmed or endangered her but also extends to people she needs information from. If she has the time to make someone she's determined has endangered her or someone innocent hurt, she'll do so and revel in it. Powers and Abilities: As of her canon point, Elektra's only abilities are those that are achieved with a lifetime of education and training; these include exceptional skill in multiple forms of fighting (both involving hand to hand and weapons), including martial arts and ballet, as well as moderate fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is mentioned, French is confirmed in a scene where she speaks it with Matt). She is also quite adept at observing human behavior and adapting her own to fit in with certain crowds, another skill learned from childhood when she was adopted by a diplomat and his wife as instructed by Stick when he left her with them.
